  1. Hey, thank you for this really interesting post!

I learned quite a few interesting facts about turmeric, which I wasn’t aware of before! It does seem like turmeric is the answer to quite a few common problems!

Definitely should add turmeric to the diet more! Turmeric is an old spice with a history dating back hundreds of years, so it shouldn’t be a surprise with the number of benefits it offers!

Anyways thanks for this helpful information!

    1. Hi Sariyah,

Thank you for reading the article and for your valuable feedback. Yes, you are not alone in not knowing the benefits of certain foods you eat.

Sometimes we eat foods because we like them, crave them, because they may look appealing to the eyes, or for other reasons. However, many times, we do not know the power of the fruits, vegetables, and grains we eat.

Knowledge is power, and the more information you have, the better-informed decision you can make.

We would like to caution you that although turmeric is known for its string of health benefits, too much consumption has some negative consequences, such as dizziness, headaches, and an upset stomach. Turmeric is potent enough that a little goes a long way.

A healthy diet is never based on individual foods. A healthy lifestyle involves a combination of all healthy foods and does not depend on one food source alone, no matter how incredible the health benefits are.

Healthy foods are stronger and work better together and not apart. Adding a healthy variety of nutrient-dense foods into your diet is one of the best gifts you can give your immune system.

  2. I love turmeric. I enjoy a nice warm cup of milk and I use powdered turmeric on my face at least 2x a month. It leaves my skin soft and bright with a gentle glow.

I think everyone should have turmeric in their kitchen. I prefer it fresh but I also have the powder.

    I really enjoyed this post.

    1. Hey Ciara,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with turmeric. Turmeric does have some amazing properties, it´s no wonder it´s called a super herb. Have you ever tried it with almond and coconut milk? It´s delicious and nutritious. I would recommend this milk occasionally because of the high-fat content in coconut milk.

Turmeric is a great exfoliant that can radically transform your skin from dull to glowing instantly and naturally.

      Thanks for stopping by.

      Cheers,
      Dana
