  1. It is interesting to know that avocado not only offers health benefits but it is also good for skin and hair.

Previously, I did not know that you could substitute avocado for butter, where I come from avocados are more expensive, but it is much healthier.

I do enjoy the taste of avocados and the ease of adding them to meals.

  2. Hi,

Thank you for sharing this great post. I knew that avocados were good for health, but I didn’t know you could make masks and creams with them for your hair and skin. That’s awesome.

I’ll try the avocado and banana cream this week. Just a question, please. Is it ok to apply conditioner after rinsing my hair? Or should I rinse, and that’s it?

    Thank you so much!

    1. Hey Daniella,

Dana here, from EHLC. Thank you for reading the article. I am happy you found some valuable information you didn´t know before.

Many people do not know the many nutritional values of their food nor its versatility. The avocado and banana hair mask is my personal favorite. I usually apply it to freshly washed hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. I then rinse off with cool water and proceed to style.

It is up to you if you would like to apply a conditioner, but it may not be necessary. Perhaps you can try it twice, once with conditioner and another time without to compare.
I can tell you you will feel and see a noticeable difference in your hair. So go ahead and give it a try and let us know how it worked out for you.
